Push Land-Grant Universities Out of the Meat Industry

On March 11th, RPA sent the governors of all 50 states a letter and two factsheets urging them to help get their land-grant universities (LGUs) out of the meat industry. Take a moment to tell your governor you agree we must get our LGUs out of the meat industry. Many say you can’t eat meat and be an environmentalist.

Happy 50th Anniversary Jane Goodall Institute

It was through her research that she learned how chimpanzees make and use tools, eat meat and engage in war-like activity. Today, the Institute is a global leader in the effort to protect chimpanzees and their habitats. The purpose of her trip was to study the behavior of the resident chimpanzees in order to better understand humans.
