The lawsuit alleges that the City of Albuquerque partnered with animal advocate groups to implement a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program in which stray or feral cats are trapped, sterilized, vaccinated, and then abandoned at the location at which they were trapped.

The practice they would have to abide by is known as “trap, neuter and release,” and it would be under Board of Health regulation.

On Dominance and Animal Birth Control

When taking the issue to simplest common denominator, spaying/neutering is essentially exercising human dominance over non-human animals. But my stance is also categorized under Gray Matters because, in my perfect world, we wouldn't be spaying or neutering anybody. And this is one of them. But who cares about me?
