Getting a kick out of one beings suffering(that never did anything bad to you and even if it did it never has human motive for it). Our awarness should make us stop bad trends but why isnt this one oppoesed more? Why are such activitys not of bye gone era where wildlife wasnt as respected as it is now?

The Red-flanked Bluetail is also the subject of an otherwise relatively unremarkable paper , but it uses the interesting term “autumn obesity” Maybe this Marsh Sandpiper also suffers from autumn obesity? Thank god that this does not apply to humans. Sometimes being a member of the human race feels very embarrassing.

The bird on the photo is one of the estimated 3500-15,000 individuals still alive according to the HBW – a frightening thought given the (too) large number of humans, of which there are about 1 million times more (and of course, each of which weighs 5000 times more than the flycatcher).

The vast majority of you reading this accept it is happening, and for the time being it is caused by humans. Though all birds will be somehow impacted by climate change, I think it is important to note that not all will suffer. Will early-arriving birds suffer from having to endure late winter storms? Climate Change.

The Blue Whistling Thrush is presumably named for its loud human-like whistling, and possibly for being blue. The Crested Serpent Eagle is another species bound to suffer from a naming error in perpetuity. A worrying trend. The Kalij Pheasant is not very good at denouncing typical avian gender stereotypes either.

In all of the lovely messages we've been getting, I've noticed two trends: 1) Death is a communal experience as well as an individual one. Some people seem to think that animals' souls are different from those of humans, while others think they're the same. Some speak of a collective consciousness, and others speak of reincarnation.
