Speaking of birds in nests, five Chilean Flamingo chicks who were raised by a human “surrogate dad” at a British wildlife center have now graduated to joining the adults in the center’s colony. Evening Grosbeak, Michigan. There is a wonderful place in the lower peninsula of Michigan called Hartwick Pines State Park. It’s one of the only places in Michigan where you can walk under old growth white pines. Kirtland’s Warbler, NYC & Michigan. It has always been a difficult bird to find, even when abundant.
