He was also able to get Cathy Kangas of PRAI Cosmetics to match his Dog Rescue bid, raising an additional $25,000 for The HSUS Animal Rescue Team and helping to save 100 more animals. Gala, held at Cipriani in New York City.

Nathan Winograd has an interesting piece in the Examiner about the recent HSUS Animal Shelter Appreciation Week. HSUS’ latest public relations gimmick is part of a larger attempt by the very animal control officers responsible for this neglect and abuse to reform their image from one of “dog catcher” to “humane law enforcement.”
