Each of these habitats attracts its own group of species. The Yellow-green Vireo is another of those rare birds that winter in South America but only travels north as far as Mexico to breed. The Masked Tityra is a tropical bird found from Mexico to Nicaragua. I really only saw a bit of movement, and then it was gone.

it is in Michoacán , in the southwest of Mexico. Lamb, who surveyed the birds of western Mexico from 1932-1955, and whose lists have been posted on eBird in recent years. 1st Hudsonian Godwits in central Mexico. I saw a group of six medium-large, long-billed shorebirds feeding in several inches of water.
