Each of these habitats attracts its own group of species. The Yellow-green Vireo is another of those rare birds that winter in South America but only travels north as far as Mexico to breed. The Masked Tityra is a tropical bird found from Mexico to Nicaragua. This one was a true lifer for me.

it is in Michoacán , in the southwest of Mexico. Lamb, who surveyed the birds of western Mexico from 1932-1955, and whose lists have been posted on eBird in recent years. 1st Hudsonian Godwits in central Mexico. They breed in northernmost Canada and Alaska, and winter in Patagonia in southernmost South America.
