What animal has skin flaps that can open to reveal white fur?

I'm pretty sure it was a deer or goat that was common knowledge about its existence but never saw in real life. It opened its flaps on its chest to show white fur underneath that most of us assumed was just there and not hidden under two folds of skin. I saw that one person in the comments said that the fur smells of popcorn.
