Mum, Dad, I’m sorry I described my childhood as feral. They are also found in patches of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and also north through Zambia, the Congo and Tanzania (just poking into Kenya). As for the rest of you, poking fun at your pseudowarblers is too much fun for me to stop. Bringing food to the young.

During the early 1990s, rumours surrounding the occurrence of a few Egyptian Geese in far north-western Germany emerged, the result of an increasing and spreading Dutch feral population. I think we’re not in Kenya anymore. Still, this was not much of an issue, nothing we discussed. Just a peculiarity.

If you just go for business and stay in the city than you will be very likely returning home with a limited list – mainly featuring Feral Pigeon (shown in its natural habitat in the award-winning picture below). My Kenya list of 69 species consists entirely of birds I saw during business trips to Nairobi. Don’t rush home.
