He was adopted by the Masson family and was apparently the most loving dog all who met him had ever had the pleasure of being licked by. It’s been nearly three weeks since the family and I left Breckenridge but I’m still thinking about all the birds that we enjoyed from my aunt and uncle’s backyard deck at 10,500 feet above sea level. We spent three days in Breckenridge and each morning I was the first in the family to awaken.

It may be as sick as deliberately targeting an endangered species for death. Eventually, I found the lone whooping crane present at the refuge by its call. Birders know that the light’s not always perfect or even particularly good when you’re trying to tell one species from another. Speculation is useless in acts of vandalism.
