Following the devastating tornado that ravaged Joplin, Missouri, American Humane Association has mobilized its famed Red Star Animal Emergency Services™ team to help the animal victims there. The Red Star team will also be assisting at the Emergency Animal Shelter.

WHERE : Emergency Animal Shelter located next to the Joplin Humane Society (140 E. To date, the ASPCA has provided emergency sheltering for approximately 1,300 animals. Approximately 300 others include those being boarded by families temporarily displaced and animals not yet ready for adoption, such as newborns and injured animals.
