It would be wonderfully dramatic to be able to say: I'm going to fight for animals rather than for language , but it's not that clear cut. Fighting to maintain the integrity of the words humane, love, euthanasia or compassion, is also fighting for animals. It helps them focus on what's really being done to animals.

She’s had an enduring love for animals and nature, but it wasn’t until she volunteered at a wildlife hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area that her passion for photography merged with her environmental advocacy.
