It is commonly kept in captivity and has therefore established many feral populations world-wide originating from escaped / released cage birds. This is what happens when people choose their pet birds on visual factors alone without taking vocalizations into account. Very stupid thing to do. Yes, the Egyptian Geese there are countable.

That was a wild cat, a wild Wildcat, the cat that lives in the wild because that is where it is from and where it belongs, at the southern end of its pan-African range that extended at one time well into Europe and Asia. I find it astonishing that people argue of whether feral cats are bad for birds in North America.

Snowy Owls are used in falconry, more so in Europe but they are legal for a few states here in the US. Here are some myths: Falconry birds are essentially pets. It’s not like the guy took the only Snowy Owl reported in the state, he opted to trap one when there is a huge influx of Snowy Owls.
