New England Reptile Distributers just released a video explaining a terrible incident involving the FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission). He had a legal permit to own them (Conditional Species Permit), and had legally microchipped them according to FWC guidelines. He had a total of 120 pythons he needed to rehome.

Southern Cassowary with chicks by Duncan Wright Carlos Sanchez was particularly appreciative of a new bird for him in Florida. This bird represented only the second documented record of this species in Florida. This may sound mundane, but my Best Bird of the Year is a species we all know quite well in one form or another.
