On "Home"

You get the idea at YouTube but the experience is vastly different on a great television. As I've written previously, I never pushed him to go vegan, and now that he is I don't push him to do any vegan education. Home reminded me of Winged Migration in a couple of ways: the sweeping cinematography and the score.

On "EATING ANIMALS" by Jonathan Safran Foer

I say "if you know someone" because this isn't a book I'd recommend to vegans for their vegan education efforts. And what follows, as you might imagine, is his support of "ethical meat" (for those who insist on eating animals). Not great, but good. He never says he is. He is against it for himself and his family. This is very silly.

On the Psychological Continuum

There is no philosophical continuum, but there is a psychological continuum, as evidenced by everyone at the workshop taking steps back or forward, denoting their increase in animal use (including no meat to meat, or backsliding, like I did a decade ago), or their decrease (such as when vegetarians go vegan). What do you think?
