Birding the Changi Business Park-Singapore

As with anywhere in Singapore, it is easy to access by public transport. There were numerous other bird species in the area that we encountered at various other locations around Singapore. Despite the area being an industrial park there are some great birding opportunities to be had at Changi Business Park and it is definitely worth a visit.

Another really good feature of Singapore is the excellent public transport system. Javan Mynas , Olive-backed Sunbirds , Spotted Doves , Rock Doves , Zebra Doves , Common Tailorbirds , Blue-tailed Bee-eaters , Yellow-vented Bulbuls , Pink-necked Green Pigeons , House Sparrows and Black-naped Orioles were in that location.

Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park and Lower Peirce Reservoir-Singapore

We were then able to walk down Upper Thomson Road and get public transport back to our hotel. Asian Glossy Starlings , Javan Mynas , Spotted Doves , Common Flameback , Pacific Swallows , Yellow-vented Bulbuls , Common Kingfisher , White-bellied Sea Eagle and Red Junglefowl were soon on the list. There is always the chance of an over-flying raptor with Brahminy Kite and White-bellied Sea-eagle commonly seen. If you don’t get to spend it, you can use it on board, or change it back later.
