The Friends of the Marine Science Center sponsor several pelagic trips every year out of Ponce de Leon Inlet to explore the deep ocean waters around the Gulfstream in search of many of these pelagic species. One of many Leatherback Sea Turtles seen on a pelagic trip out of Ponce de Leon Inlet.

In the Bahamas I swam in a pod of feeding dolphins. There is no feeling in the world like knowing your helping something you care about, whether its sharks or puffins, protecting forests or reefs, advancing science or communities. In Hawaii I stood on a beach as albatrosses fledged and Tiger Sharks prowled for the less successful ones.
