Mites will eventually kill the bird. Bird brought in by a cat or dog. Call and transport the bird to a bird rehabber ASAP. Suspect” dog or cat interactions. *Baby bird with lots of mites. Child brings home a baby bird. Gone from nest for several hours. Nestling or fledgeling bird with one or both parents confirmed dead.

The day before, the day I arrived, was a transport day, and that meant the pack hadn’t been seen in the afternoon. And the morning before the Mkuze pack of Painted Wolves, or African Wild Dogs, had been very close to one of the park’s few Lions, as far as tracking collars had told. Her concern was well founded.

To be 100% honest, I make sure to wear my camera whenever possible because I have the unfortunate habit of leaving my electronics on all modes of public transportation. Down the beach it continued to make its way past other people and even dogs, though I hope for its sake it eventually took wing – it was a very long line of hotels.

And you’ve posted a link to a petition to an airline to ask them to stop transporting trophies. The killing of Cecil was equated with murder, a moral crime rather than a symptom of a ecological problem. I’m just saying that it’s a bit more… Look, I understand you have an opinion. And that lions are really cute.

Following is a telepathic conversation I experienced while transporting dogs to a rescue. One day about 10 years ago, I was in the process of transporting quite a few dogs to a rescue from a high kill shelter.

It has been a humbling 17 days as I walk the dogs early, shower, and get gussied up to sit in traffic for 1.5 hours on I-95 (we here in South Florida are known for our very limited public transportation options--boy do I miss NYC). Trying to program kids to accept the killing of someone they love is cruel.
