zoos have pandas (Washington DC zoo and Zoo Atlanta). Obviously they normally don’t let visitors close up to animals but it’s my dream to pet a panda just once. How do I convince them to let me pet my favorite animal? Pandas are my favorite animal. I wanna feel their fur.

I love her so much, and life hasn’t been the easiest for us, she was stolen from me and then let loose and was running around the streets of downtown DC for 5 hours, dodging through traffic according to the kind man who captured her. I just love her so much, she is more than just a “pet”. I don’t know what I would do without her.

This bird was in serious trouble by the mid-19th century due to the adults being killed for food and young being taken for pets. It preferred open savanna terrain with scattered trees and gallery forest where its favored food grew — the seeds and fruits of the royal palm and chinaberry tree. Nests were in hollows in palm trees.
