The campaign to moralize meat has largely been a failure. He watched cockfighting and killed and skinned animals, but won’t eat veal.

In other words, I don't immerse myself in animal cruelty. And when I don't exercise I am miserable mentally and physically.

These farmers work long hours moving animals from pasture to pasture and often struggle with a paucity of meat-processing infrastructure suitable to the needs of small-scale producers.
