But the shocking voice that made the difference and prevented the full protection of elephants was even less expected than the WWF’s stance – the EU vote. And it gave me a hope.

A group of dead but still standing trees… a pecker… an Acorn Woodpecker … one more… and a few more… about ten Acorn Woodpeckers!! Acorn Woodpeckers by Niklas Aronsson. A cove protected from the winds – endemic Volcano Junco and the view over the main crater. I have never seen that many peckers at the same spot.
