The event is to be held at Pacha on Thursday, October 22, 2009, and all funds raised will benefit the city’s broad rescue, shelter and adoption services. A funny, heart-warming video called “ SMILE ,” developed by “I’m Tired of” (ITo), the makers of the popular “I’m Tired of Animal Cruelty” bracelet, which raises money for animal rights and rescue charities, has reached viral levels. The “I’m Tired of” campaign is a labor of love for Hoffman and his sister, Carrie Pollare.

The DDF will be raising $20,000 for the training and care of a service dog (including medical bills, training and food) which will be donated to one lucky war vet from the FSD group. FSD rescues dogs from shelters and custom trains each dog to assist a person with a disability.
