Maybe it was a version of the Mississippi River, maybe it was a version of the Warren River, likely both. Non-bird watchers without binoculars and experience are notoriously bad sources of information. But now there is some research on that. A good way up one of the tallest pines is an Eagle’s nest. More alarm calling.
