Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park and Lower Peirce Reservoir-Singapore

By the time we reached the Upper Thomson Road we had a spent three hours sauntering through the park and had a list of over forty bird species. We had not expected to see too many bird species on this short walk, but sometimes these short walks can have a surprise or two. Common Gliding Lizard.

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve: the Tiger Afternoon

There’s a Three-striped Palm Squirrel by the side of the track, while Jungle Bush Quails are running across it in front of our Maruti Gypsy, almost the official safari vehicle of India. On her own, two months ago, she took down a big, old and experienced Indian Boar , who already had some old tiger claw scars.

Central Catchment Nature Reserve Singapore

Then there are the Wild Boars, Plantain Squirrels, Monitor Lizards and of course the bird-life. There is a really good number of bird species to be observed in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve and it is an eBird Hotspot. This bird species was encountered in the parks and gardens in Singapore as well as the forests.
