Birding in the Snow at Shinnecock Inlet

I should say trying to start my car because the battery had died overnight and it would not start. Holy cow was it cold! With a winter storm fast approaching I had to get out to Shinnecock, which is just shy of an hour-and-a-half from my house, early. I set my alarm for 5:20 AM and was outside starting my car by 5:45.
