Domestic animal shelters don’t normally take wildlife and if they do it’s rare. 1) If you see a baby Cottontail that’s not in any danger, you should leave it alone.

Then there are the Wild Boars, Plantain Squirrels, Monitor Lizards and of course the bird-life. There are also shelters throughout the nature reserve should you be caught out by the weather. There is a really good number of bird species to be observed in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve and it is an eBird Hotspot.
