It's a book by Tracy Kidder about Dr. Paul Farmer, an international health advocate who made his name from his work in Haiti and his fight against Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR). Haiti doesn't allow people from the Church of the Latter-Day Saints to adopt. Who knew November was such a potentially-informative month?
