After our two-week-long familiarity trip across Uganda, we ten visiting birders were tired. So we made our way to the grounds of the Uganda Wildlife Education Center , a former zoo that now rehabilitates injured animals. If he hadn’t seen it in Uganda it was a good bird!

So, this one’s for free, if you have ever wanted to see an African Finfoot, go to Lake Mburu in Uganda. This species was common as muck at Mweya, a safari lodge in Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park. Honestly, the view is to die for before you’ve even seen an animal or a sip of drink. Local common.
