Again, work by SAEN (Stop Animal Exploitation Now.) An Ohio-based animal rights organization has filed a complaint against Harvard Medical School, alleging that the school's New England Primate Research Center in Southborough did not properly report its experiments on animals. Sounds awful.

Is there a different culture regarding animals in Europe? Are animal rights organizations more effective? Tags: europe animal research drug companies medical research. I just don't understand it. They have drug companies that are just as powerful as those here. Is public outcry greater? What gives?

I found a link to them on ANIMAL's blog (ANIMAL is a Portuguese animal rights group.) These scientists are NOT an animal rights group. They do support some animal-based studies (which sucks); HOWEVER, they acknowledge that much animal research is useless. Here's a group I've never heard of.

Oprah's a huge Heifer International fan, and how people who are concerned with justice can give to that organization shocks me. It was because of her that her husband could get medical care when he fell ill. The central message of the program was not about enslaving animals, of course.
