The Wilson’s Plovers with their stout crab cracking beaks and hunched demeanor, they have less distance to fly but it’s still no small feat to zip from Alabama to Costa Rica. Life is always better when bearing witness to Sunbittern madness. Just fly from there to here to rumble around the mud flats of the Nicoya Gulf?
