I rescued 5 puppies and their mom 3 months ago. Three of them found loving homes, but unfortunately, the remaining two were adopted by someone who put them in close proximity to sick dogs, resulting in parvo. I'm terrified that the vet might stop the treatment, and I don't want these pups to suffer or worse.

One of the largest animal rescue operations in Canadian history just got a lot bigger: about 90 puppies have been born since hundreds of dogs were seized northwest of Ottawa. Violet Rays is not a kid dog. So when we adopted a human baby we knew we'd have to teach that human to avoid Violet. The growing little human in the house was basically taught to stay far away from dogs and respect their space. We weren't planning to adopt another. And he's child friendly. On May 5, 2010, I adopted a two-year-old poodle/terrier mix from our local shelter, Animal Allies. Within weeks, with lots of love, patience, and socializing with other tenants and pets, she was a totally different dog. Ever since I got her, she’s been an absolutely wonderful dog. My name is Jan. I named her Angel.
