Unsure if this is the right place to ask but,Is it a common practice for shelters to deny the adoption of a fixed female cat when the homeowner has an intact female dog and a couple of fixed bunnies? Could she get a pass from the board and adopt anyway if she were to ask?

All companion animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, and lizards would be considered as pets.
