Loner, Drifter: More on the Hoary Bat

I never knew, until my ill-fated encounter , that these are among the most birdie of the North American flying mammals. The species ranges north well into Canada in the summer months, but in the winter they make for the southern coasts or down to Mexico. I cannot get the Hoary Bat out of my head. So the Hoary Bat is migratory.
