At 6am it was still dark in the (relatively) high elevation rainforest where Golden-crowned Warblers fluttered just above the leaf litter, Collared Trogons and Hepatic Tanagers gathered to feed on the bounty of moths still on offer. I expected to learn a thing or two and possibly see some birds I had never seen before. Common Ground Dove.
