Having written weekly for this website since late 2010 and this being my 642nd post I thought I could summarise some of the posts that I have done from various places around Australia that you might have missed over the years. The capital is San Juan, an important center of Caribbean culture and transportation. According to the 2010 Census, the population was about 3.7 avian diversity: the Puerto Rican Parrot is the only remaining native parrot species and the sole representative of the Tody family ( Todidae) is the Puerto Rican Tody.

TRANSPORTATION. I picked up some amazing birds at Canopy Adventures back in 2010, but that was with a guide who knew his birds. In fact, I spent a week in Panama in 2010, exploring many of the hotspots in Gamboa and El Valle in the expert care of Canopy Tower and Lodge guides. Red-lored Parrot. Mealy Parrot.
