The capital is San Juan, an important center of Caribbean culture and transportation. According to the 2010 Census, the population was about 3.7 But other species have not been recorded in the ABA Area, including, of course, all 16 Puerto Rican endemics. Moreover, invasive species have impacted much of what remains.
