But don’t be surprised to see the Falcons falter just as the Cardinals did in 2009 and the Seahawks did in 2006 and the Eagles in 2005. or join others in rooting for the Patriots to fail.

I live in Seattle and I am always skeptical of how the UW treats its lab animals. Full story in the Seattle Times. The UW has been cited in the past for deficiencies in animal research, including allowing a monkey to starve in 2009. I had never heard of the use of ferrets in medical research though. News to me.

Rabbit Meadows is a rescue group out of Seattle. We’ve subsequently rescued feral rabbit populations from Rocky Reach Dam in Wenatchee, Seattle’s Woodland Park, and the Aqua Barn of Kent, insuring each rabbit a safe haven to live out the rest of their life at Rabbit meadows without threat of harm.

The end of this rather long road trip finds us here in Puyallup, Washington which is just south of Seattle. The Nisqually estuary was restored in 2009 by removing dikes and reconnecting 762 acres with the tides of Puget Sound. It seems like the farther the north we go, the colder, and wetter, and a whole lot snowier it gets!
