Still, I have been stuck trying to identify a dragonfly I photographed in 2010. The dragonfly photo I have been puzzling over since 2010 turned out to be a Black-winged Dragonlet andromorph! Only a small percentage of Costa Rica odonates are polymorphic, but it is something to keep in mind when doing identification.
