I had my first swim with Inshore Bottlenose Dolphins in Northland’s Bay of Islands back in 2000, and it was a tripy experience. So if you are after a unique dolphin experience you could do worse than this New Zealand speciality. If you love the idea of swimming with dolphins, New Zealand is a great place to do it.

But, in the next year, 2009, only one human was killed by a tiger, leading to a conclusion that all the tigers in the conflict area (practically, the wider reserve buffer zone) have been wiped out.

The Grey-backed Shrike apparently prefers locations close to human settlements – not because humans are particularly nice (we are not), but “because these habitats offer a better foraging substrate and places safe from large predators” ( source ). Bad manners, I think. Difficult – no, hopeless.
