Twenty years ago, flocks consisting of a thousand European Turtle Doves were a common sight in Serbia in spring. Turtle Doves have been declining in Europe since the 1970s, and in this century alone, the continent has lost 40% of its population of the species. Ten years ago, those flocks were reduced to a few hundred birds.

Are the kids cooking monkey, cat, dog, alligator or turtle? The site says food production factories are included , but I doubt that means those involving the slaughter of animals.). For me, the focus on culture and tradition is basically an excuse for "anything goes" when it comes to animals. But I bet anything doesn't go.

This email was flagging up the activities of a ‘sporting agency’ in Britain who were offering trips/holidays to Morocco to shoot Turtle Doves. Further research revealed two more companies in Britain and several others across Europe all engaged in the same shooting tourism.
