Lanthier, a veterinarian and walrus researcher who took the helm in Calgary two years ago, says the cancellation of the polar bears exhibit might please some animal-rights extremists, but the reality is a blow to Canada's white bears. sounds like a real jerk.

Pets Aplenty is a humorous book written by Malcolm Welshman, a retired vet who has worked at London Zoo, in a small animal hospital, and as a consultant dealing with exotics. This is actually the third book in his vet series. He is a BBC Radio panelist and a guest speaker worldwide on cruise ships.

We pulled into the parking lot, got out of the car, and before I’d even had a chance to pull my binoculars out of my backpack, an adult eagle soared right over our heads. I don’t know who the Elmwood Park Zoo (Norristown, PA) hired to write their Bald Eagle signage (below), but it’s lies—I bet that pair is planning their next heist.
