I once knew a guy who kept and raised cats. Dogs are similarly dispersed across size ranges, with Foxes, Coyotes, and Wolves taking prey across different parts of the size range. Un-owned cats, as opposed to owned pets, cause the majority of this mortality. But they don’t live in North America. Unless we put them there.
