A monkey was rescued from a factory in India where it was being held in captivity. It's an adult male macaque suffering from zoochosis. According to the article, "Zoochosis is a term used by animal rights activists in reference to the degrading effect of zoos on animals that have been kept in captivity over a long period of time.

The beautiful Red-tailed Parrot ranges only in a narrow strip of littoral forest along the coasts of the states of Parana and Sao Paulo while the partially migratory Red-spectacled Parrot roosts during the non-breeding season in only a handful of Araucaria (monkey puzzle) groves in southern Brazil.

To be honest, both the robin and the flycatchers shown above remind me of the easter eggs I hunted for as a child – the same strong colors in front of a green background, same time of the year (feel free to insert your own Proust Madeleine reference here) … Bluethroats apparently are good at imitating other birds.
