5 or 6 times over the last year I have found decapitated or otherwise "dissassembled" mice or small rats near or under my car. Lots of squirrels, chipmunks, deer, rabbits. Oh and a turkey one time. I moved into this house about a year ago. We do have a possum and a raccoon that live somewhere on the property.

A wildlife rehabilitator friend, newly licensed, recently called to ask if he could feed a recovering Turkey Vulture anything besides defrosted rodents. Normally I feed vultures, as well as hawks and owls, defrosted mice and rats. He then ate a screech owl, a robin, two squirrels, a mourning dove, three chipmunks, and a rabbit.

It seems that these people, who purport to claim to care so much about animals, are completely ignorant of the existence of any animal life beyond horses, cows, pigs, chickens and turkeys. Yes, of course it is too bad that so many animals (most often rats, mice and rabbits) have to be killed. The logic of this is ridiculous.
