This makes the waters massively productive, which attracts fishermen and marine life close to the shore, where it can be watched without hours spent reaching the continental shelf.

Dead Sea Lions in Puget Sound - Again

Washington wildlife officials say eight sea lions have been found dead in the Puget Sound region in recent weeks — all apparently shot. KING-TV reports that both the state Department of Fish and Wildlife and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are investigating the deaths.
