I am starting my training tomorrow to work as a medical/kennel assistant volunteer at the dog wing of my local animal shelter. I am worried about interacting with a high energy dog that wants to run out of his kennel the minute he gets a chance lol. I was so excited but now I’m extremely nervous.

It’s up to that person to make sure the animal has been properly fed, exercised, medicated (if necessary), and comforted. Make a visit to the veterinarian for a final check-up.

Some pay for all medical bills, some even pay for food. Many of these boarding animals are forgotten.
