I’ve long advocated for a habitat stamp strickly for birders as some of us don’t want to be labeled as hunters. Personally I’m very stubborn on this issue (not that I have anything against hunters)…but the minute they make a birding stamp, I’ll buy two!

Bufflehead are the smallest of North America’s diving ducks. Because of is huge range and large and growing population it is classified as a Species of Least Concern , great news for those who like to feel the gaze of the Bufflehead upon them. In winter most head to the coasts though some stay inland on open water.
