In what some might see as an unlikely alliance, wildlife rehabilitators, veterinarians, and – yes – hunters have banded together to convince those who hunt to use copper bullets instead of lead. The NRA has tried to portray this movement as “taking away hunters’ rights,” which does nothing but insult the hunters already on board.

Dunayer devotes a chapter each to the language used in hunting, zoos, "marine parks," vivisection and "animal agriculture." An animal's own terms are 'Don't hunt me'" (49). "At Through semantic reversal, fishers (like hunters) pretend to promote rather than destroy life" (67). Often it permanently disables or kills.

Administrative Procedure for Birders: Duck Stamp Rulemaking
