FiXiT is dedicated to coming up with solutions to reduce the number of homeless animals by helping people get their animals get spayed/neutered. In honor of World Spay Day 2014, GetYourFix will dramatically ramp up a microfunding feature – Fix of the Week – to meet a goal of raising funds to spay/neuter 25 animals.

For each story shared, Purina and Kroger will make an additional donation to animal welfare organizations.

The event is to be held at Pacha on Thursday, October 22, 2009, and all funds raised will benefit the city’s broad rescue, shelter and adoption services. Last year, AC&C hosted over 200 guests and raised $85,000 for the Animal Care cause.

Kitten Rescue is a wonderful animal rescue organization! Every year they host a great event to help raise the funds that they need to continue their rescue efforts. WHAT: The Kitten Rescue Fur Ball at the Skirball is an annual fundraiser dinner held to support Kitten Rescue’s programs and the Kitten Rescue Homeless Cat Sanctuary.
