Three endangered Malayan tiger cubs were born at Busch Gardens Tampa Sunday, March 31. These are the first Malayan tigers born at Busch Gardens Tampa and the first offspring for both the mother Bzui and father Mata. The cubs will rotate separate sessions on the habitat with the Bengal tiger groups that currently reside there.

Baby Lemurs at Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay welcomed two endangered baby red-ruffed lemurs on April 21. The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund is actively working with groups in the wild to save endangered or threatened species, such as lemurs. However, they cannot disperse enough seeds to match the rate of forest destruction.

Snow Geese in Florida

Driving slowly along the refuge’s winding road, I spotted a group of cars pulled over on the shoulder. Every year they migrate down to this Gulf Coast protected area, giving me the opportunity to observed Redheads, Hooded Mergansers, scaups, Ring-necked Ducks , and more. 2020 was a tough year, but at least it had Snow Geese!
